School Dance is schoolwide PreK-5th. 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. It is a sock hop. Students will only be able to wear socks on gym floor. Admission is $5.00 and it is prepaid.

We have winners at the Regional Science Fair from Spanishburg School. Congratulations to Miranda Meadows for winning second place in Chemistry and to Clacy Fields for winning first place in Environmental and Earth Sciences. He will compete in the state Science Fair.

Mark your calendar for our Snowflake Dance for 3rd-5th grades. Fifth graders only can run for King, Queen, Prince and Princess. It is one penny per vote and all money must be turned into office by 8:00 am on February 2, 2024. Admission is $10.00 which includes a picture. Concessions and more pictures may be purchased. All proceeds go toward 5th grade end of the year trip to Dollywood.

Update: Mercer County maintenance department and the furnace specialist have repaired our heating system.
Mercer County maintenance department and furnace specialist have been working to repair our heating system. We expect the repair to be fully completed sometime tomorrow. We have added temporary electric heat this evening to allow students to be in school tomorrow. In addition to our current system being repaired, we currently also have construction that will include a new heating system for next school year. We thank you for your patience and cooperation, if you have questions, please contact the school.
If your schedule allows, please join us tomorrow, December 20th for our school sing along at 12:30 pm in the gym. We will have refreshments in the cafeteria for those who have to hang out until your child's Christmas party.

Monday starts Santa's Workshop. Students may shop all week during their resource time. Dress up days next week are Grinch attire on Monday, Christmas Vacation attire on Tuesday, Let it Snow Attire on Wednesday, PJ day on Thursday and Ugly Sweater on Friday. School Christmas Bash is on the 19th from 5 pm to 6 pm. Classroom parties are on the 20th.

Get your school shirt, etc. Orders are due this Friday with payment. Also, our girls and boys play tonight at 6 pm and 7 pm. Come out and support our teams. We will have concessions.
Chick-fil-a leader academy is giving away 160 million books. Pikeview High School is giving these books to all feeder school 1st grades. Today former Spanishburg students Charlie Fink, Tyler Fink, Aleigha Matney, and Kasey Johnson came with PVHS to give our student the books.

Tomorrow, students may bring their Halloween costumes to wear in our parade at 1:00 pm. Parents may come to watch but we will not have any parties.
