In celebration of Grandparents Day on Friday, September 5th, we will be switching the lunch menus for Tuesday, September 2nd and Friday, September 5th. Please note that Tuesday will now feature Friday’s original menu, and vice versa. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!

Don't forget about the MCS Express Food Truck this week! Today they're in Bluefield at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church. Tomorrow at the First Christian Church across from Straley School, Wednesday at Matoaka Summer Day Camp at the Matoaka Fire Department, and Thursday at the Montcalm Volunteer Fire Department. Each day is from 11:00-12:30. Bring your kids for food and fun!

This is a message from Spanishburg School. We are excited to remind you that tomorrow is PTO Fun Day! Please ensure your child brings a towel and an extra change of clothes for the activities. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, they are available for $23.00. Important Notice: If your child has medicine at school, please pick up your child's medication by Thursday, June 12. Any medication not collected will be disposed of. For students who require emergency medication for the upcoming school year, please remember to submit new doctor’s orders and medication to the school by August 11. Child Nutrition may need to place special orders, so it’s crucial to have this completed on time. Please note that physician's orders are valid for only one year. According to WV State Code, students cannot attend school until both the physician's orders and medication are received to ensure their safety and well-being. Please take action to submit these documents so your child can attend the first day of school. Thank you for your cooperation. See you tomorrow!

Dear Parents/Guardians, This message is from Spanishburg School. We are excited to announce that our PE Fun Field Day is scheduled for June 4th! On this day, classes will compete in a variety of exciting events held on the grassy area directly in front of the school starting at 8:30 am. Each grade will have designated areas marked along the side of the playing field, where students and parents are required to sit. Classrooms will have the opportunity to set up canopies in their assigned spots. We warmly encourage parents to come out, cheer for their children, and lend a helping hand during the activities. Please remember to bring a chair or blanket, sunscreen, and join in the fun! If any parents are available to help set up from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM, please notify Mr. Harmon.

Don't miss out on this tasty treat—come grab your ice cream and savor the yumminess! Treat yourself! Also, any fifth graders wanting a physical on the 21st for fall sports at PVMS, please get your paperwork back to us. Finally, we are wrapping up our testing this week. Please take a moment to encourage your child, as they are putting in a lot of effort. Remember, you can view their scores in real-time, just like we do. Thank you for your support!

Tomorrow, April 17, is the deadline for all money for the 5th grade trip to Dollywood if you are buying tickets through us. We must send the check on Friday.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd, the county will come to pick up the cans for the aluminum can drive. If you have any to donate, please get them here in the morning. Thanks.
