Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to remind you about our school dance happening tomorrow, February 7, 2025.
PreK-2nd grade will dance from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
3rd-5th grades will dance from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Parents are welcome to join us for the crowning of our King and Queen at 7:15 PM. Please note that the dance is prepaid, and we cannot accept payments at the door. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Due to the current illnesses in our community, it is important that students attend school for at least half a day to participate in the dance. If your child is feeling unwell, especially with flu or COVID symptoms, please skip this dance and attend the next one.

We would like to remind everyone about the upcoming school dance on Friday, February 7th. The prepaid admission is $10.00 is due February, 5th, and each student will receive a picture. Concessions will be available for purchase at the dance.
The schedule for the event is as follows:

Reminder of our Christmas Bash tomorrow at 4:30 with Santa, cookies, and cocoa with Santa's Workshop opening at 3:30 for parents.
From Spanishburg School: This is a reminder that Santa's Workshop starts tomorrow. Most items are $1.00 to $5.00. On Tuesday, the shop will be open to parents from 3:30 to 4:30. At 4:30 we will have our Ukulele concert along with Santa , cookies, and hot cocoa. We moved it up in time so you may go enjoy the Princeton Parade if you like. Can't wait to see you !

Due to Concord University closing tomorrow, we must cancel the Reading Bee scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024. We will work to reschedule the event and will provide you with updated details as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unexpected changes.
From Spanishburg School: Reminder that PTO will take the ornament pictures tomorrow in front of the Christmas Tree.
Spanishburg School will participate in Veteran’s Day Parade in Princeton, come join us line up at 10:30 across from Hillbilly Cycle. No school for students tomorrow. Wear Orange on Tuesday for Unity Day.
From Spanishburg: Picture money is due tomorrow. PTO tonight at 7 pm on Zoom. Let us know if you plan on walking in the Veteran's Day parade on Monday.
We have two buses which are running ten to fifteen minutes late. Ray Powers Bus 643 and Michael Wimmer Bus 678.
From Spanishburg School: Tomorrow our school will be participating in the PVHS parade. If you want to participate, you must attend with your child and be at Concord's Football parking lot by 5:30 pm. Also, make plans and invite your friends to attend our Fall Festival on Friday 6 pm to 8 pm. If you have any donations, please send those tomorrow. Thank you. We can't wait to see you on Friday.
From Spanishburg: We are having our Red Ribbon Week. Please join the fun! Tomorrow, wear your tie dye, bright colors or peace signs. On Tuesday, wear your crazy hair, crazy outfits and crazy socks. On Wednesday, wear western gear. On Thursday, wear your PJ's or dress inside out. On Friday, wear your school colors/T-shirts. Lastly, please send Fall Festival items to the school. We need bags of candy, 2-liters of pop, cereal, and items for the cake walk.
Bus 643, Mr. Ray Powers, is running approximately 20 minutes late today. The bus should leave the school at 2:40 pm

From Spanishburg School, tomorrow is our school science fair and our first home basketball game for our girls at 6 pm and boys at 7 pm. We will have concessions. Come hungry. On Wednesday, we will wear gold for childhood cancer awareness. On Friday, we will make our fall school pictures.

Invite others to come and eat as well. We are having two trainings for you on managing behaviors/trauma at 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Bring your questions and/or concerns to the expert. We have door prizes and large pumpkins for sale for $6.00. Let's celebrate, meet, and have fun!
