Attention Montcalm High School students: The "Get a Life" event that was scheduled for Montcalm High School for October 1, 2024, has been rescheduled for October 29, 2024.
Timberwood Elementary thankfully fared well during the storms. The drainage system worked the way it should, bulkheads are going in Area A, humidity under control for drywall installation, inside tented area for masons, sheetrock still arriving, outside utilities tied in, and testing water lines.

Today team members from Maintenance, PEDs, custodians, Administrators, and all three superintendents worked to move food from BIS, BPS, BMS, BHS, MHS, MES, Oakvale, Bluewell, Brushfork, LMS and Spanishburg to schools with power.

Sara Rose from the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission presented information to students and parents this evening on FAFSA and state financial aid. Local college admissions reps were there to provide details on educational opportunities in our area.

At the September 23rd meeting, the Mercer County BOE recognized board President Greg Prudich for being named the 2024 WV School Board Assoc. Member of the Year and Maintenance employee, Steve Clowers for going above and beyond in keeping our schools in good condition.
