Mr. Souter is from West Virginia and educates about health and social studies with the use of Appalachian instruments. His songs and programs are informative and entertaining. We appreciate his performances today and look forward to hosting him again in November at other schools. These events have been made possible through Step 7 funds.

⚾️ Home Run for Inclusion!
Mercer County Schools' students and staff had an incredible time participating in our very first Community Integration Baseball game with the Bluefield Raid Birds Alternative Baseball Organization (ABO) at Hunnicutt Stadium! We are honored to support their mission of creating inclusive and exciting baseball experiences for teens and adults with disabilities.
The energy was electric as fans, including teachers, students, parents, and school administrators, cheered on the players. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Thank you to ABO for their generous donation of supplies to our special education classrooms and for the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of our special needs community!
