Mr. Toman with two officials from Mercer County-Chuck Ratliff was recognized for 30 years as a basketball official and Michael Henry for 28 years as a basketball official.

Bus 640, which affects Lashmeet Matoaka, Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High will not run today; however, children that live on Bicknal flats and lower part of Reese Harmon ridge will ride 636.
Children that live on upper part of Reese Harmon ridge will ride 656.
Both 636 and 656 may be late 10-15 minutes due to additional stops.

PSHS 9th grader, Katelyn Choate, sang the national anthem for the Single A Championship in Charleston today. She is pictured with superintendent Ed Toman and her parents.



The Mercer County Robotics Program finished strong at the WV State Championship in Fairmont with the Mercer Elementary Team D - Da’ Pirates” winning the state skills championship and earning a spot at the Robotics World Championship in Dallas. Straley Team A won the Judges Award, and Team C won the Amaze Award. Mercer Team E won the Build Award. Melrose Elementary finished an amazing event placing both teams in the top 20 of skills and teamwork.






Our Mercer County Elementary Robotics teams finished day 1 strong at the with Mercer Elementary Team D holding first place in the teamwork challenge. Straley
and Melrose also have teams in the top 10. We are so proud of our students and their hard work. Good luck tomorrow!






Montcalm High School Team B won the WV Robotics Teamwork State Championship and the Skills Champion Award in Fairmont on Thursday, earning a bid to the 2024 World Championship in Dallas, Texas. Princeton Middle School Team A finished 3rd in the state and earned the State Championship Design Award. Congratulations to all of our middle school teams for representing Mercer County.
