Mercer County is well represented at the INVEST Conference in Charleston, WV. Many of our teachers are attending this workshop to Infuse, Network, Value, Engage, Support and Target effective instructional strategies to bring back to their classrooms this fall.
The Mercer County BOE recognized Dr. Ernie Adkins for being named the 2024 WV Association of School Administrators Assistant Superintendent of the Year.
The Mercer County BOE recognized Grace Richardson (BHS) for being selected for the Class AA All-State Softball Team. Students recognized but not pictured are Isabella Smith, AA All-State Softball Team and Eli Hilling, AA All-State Baseball Team.
