The month of November is awareness for diabetes and epilepsy. This week during American Education Week, we will wear blue on Monday and purple on Wednesday to recognize these.
Schools across the country will be celebrating American Education Week. We hope you will participate and take time during this week to let your child’s bus drivers, cooks, custodians, aides, secretary, and most of all their teachers know how much you appreciate the care and attention they give your child daily. Lastly, we welcome all former Spanishburg teachers to a luncheon on Wednesday. Please RSVP by Tuesday.

This week is College Exploration Week. Tomorrow, wear your Halloween shirt or a college of your choice, Tuesday wear your Virginia Tech colors, Wednesday wear your Marshall University colors, Thursday wear your Concord University colors, and Friday wear your WVU colors.

Tomorrow, we will be dressing up as our favorite Inside Out character because we want to be a friend, celebrate life, live drug free and have kind words no matter what we are feeling. Then, after lunch students may put on their Halloween costume to show their friends and to wear for a little while in the classroom. Costumes must be appropriate for school and should not be violent in nature. Costumes must be easy for your child to put on over their clothing and no face painting. To ensure your child’s safety, they may NOT wear costumes on the bus so we will be taking them off before dismissal.
