Good evening LMS families! Come join us for our first PTO meeting of the school year on Wednesday, October 2 at 2:30. We invite everyone to come and hear about all the things we have planned for the year. We are always recruiting for PTO members to help with events and activities throughout the school year. Good morning, LMS families. The lunch menu has changed for today. We are having Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, with gravy, green beans, biscuit, sliced pears, and milk. Thursday will be the Breaded Chicken sandwich with pickles, lettuce and tomatoes, waffle fries, fruit cocktail and milk. Hope you have a great day.

Good evening LMS families! In honor of grandparent's day, we will celebrate our grandparents on Monday, September 9 with ice cream sundaes and stories. Preschool and Kindergarten will be from 12:20-12:50, first and second grade from 1:00-1:30, and third, fourth, and fifth grade from 1:35-2:05. We will have a photo opportunity available for $5. If grandparents aren't available to attend, other family members or special friends can attend in their place. We hope to see you there!
Good evening LMS families! At the end of the day, during pick up, if you need to strap your child into their car seat, please pull forward to do so. Good evening LMS families! Monday, September 2 is Labor Day. This is an observed holiday so there will be no school. Teresa is in need of Band-Aids, anti-itch cream, and antibiotic cream for the office. As a reminder, all students, preschool through fifth grade, need to be dropped off in the loop of the mornings., unless it is after 7:30. Any student who arrives after 7:30 is considered tardy. LMS families, tomorrow our fun day will begin at 8:30 A.M. If you signed up to be a helper, please report at 7:30. Make sure your child wears clothes and shoes to get wet in, as well as bring a full change of clothes and a towel. We will have our attendance give-a-way at 1:00. In order to participate, students must be present. They definitely don't want to miss it! Finally, if your child has medication at the school, it needs to be picked up by the end of the day June 7.

Parents of Kindergarten and first grade students, please be at the school at 4:00 to pick up your child. Do not pull in the loop. The bus will need to pull in there to drop off students. Thank you
Kindergarten and first grade families, students need to be at the school at 6:30 AM tomorrow, Friday, May 31st for the field trip. They need to wear tennis shoes and do not need to bring their book bag. They will receive yellow LMS shirts to wear in the morning so dress accordingly. We are leaving at 7:00 AM sharp. We will not wait on students who arrive late. We plan to return to school at 4:00 PM. We will let you know if we arrive earlier or later by a phone call. Please be on time to get your child. Students have to ride the bus to the Clay Center but you may sign them out to go back home. Please send lunch boxes in disposable bags with their names on it, if you plan to attend with your child, you can keep their lunches with you. We are having cheese pizza for lunch. We will see you at 6:30 tomorrow morning.
