LMS families, you don't want to miss our Night of the Arts tomorrow evening at 5:30. Students in all grade levels will be performing, refreshments will be served, and you will get to view our first ever trip around the sun glow room. We hope to see you there!

LMS families, tomorrow evening from 5:30-6:30, we will have our first every Preschool and Kindergarten signing day. This event is for upcoming preschool and Kindergarten students. Our current preschool students will sing a song for us. If you haven't registered your child for Preschool or Kindergarten, it is not to late. You can sign them up at this event! We hope to see you there!
Hello Pre-K families. Just a few reminders. Our Pre-K and Kinder signing day is this Thursday at 5:30. We hope that you can make it out to join us! Your child will be singing a couple of songs and participating in our upcoming Kindergarten signing event. Our Donuts with Grownups event is on Monday May 12th. If you have not turned your RSVP paper back in, please do so asap. Next week is our field trip, Thursday May 15th. Your child must have a signed permission slip in order to attend. Please let your teacher know if you need another one. Lastly, graduation picture order forms are due no later than May 16th. Thank you and have a great evening.
Parents in grades 3-5, tomorrow begins your child's end of year assessment. We are looking forward to seeing all the great things they have learned this year and to show us how smart they are. We do need some help from you! First, make sure your child gets a good night's rest. Second, make sure they come to school and are on time. Finally, remind them of the importance of trying their best! Thank you for your support!

Music Across the Years
LMS families, tomorrow for spirit week we are going to knock the socks off the test. Wear your favorite socks. Tomorrow, April 30, is the last day of tutoring. Parents, of grades 3-5, don't forget to send in your letters of encouragement for your child or children for next week's test.
LMS families, there will be after-school choir practice on Tuesday and Thursday for the next two weeks. The dates are April 29, May 1, May 6, and May 8. We will sing until 3:30. The concert will be on May 13 at 5:30. It is not too late to join the choir! Students, parents, and family members are all invited to participate. Practice materials are provided online.
Please contact Mrs. Fox with questions. For spirit week, tomorrow is your brain is exploding with knowledge. Wear your favorite hat. Finally, parents in grades 3-5, the WV General Summative Assessment will be given next week. Grades 3 and 4 will test Tuesday through Thursday. Grade 5 will test Tuesday through Friday. We need all students present, well rested, and on time. You should have received an envelope with a letter from me. We are asking that you use the paper in the envelope to write your child a letter to pick them up and motivate them to do their best on their end of year testing for next week. Siblings and other family members may do so as well. Please put your letter back in the envelope and return it to me or your child's teacher. We will make sure it is on their desk next Tuesday morning when they start testing. The letter for your child is a secret! We want them to be surprised! Thank you for your support!
LMS families, this is a friendly reminder to have your child show their school spirit, this upcoming week, as grades 3-5 prepare for their end of year testing on May 6-9. Tomorrow is setting the test on fire. Have your child wear sunglasses.

Good evening LMS families! This week's lunch menu is cooks choice. Tomorrow we will have pizza, baked beans, corn, and fruit. Thursday will be pepperoni and cheese pretzel sandwich, marinara sauce, peas, caesar salad, and fruit. Friday's lunch will be turkey and cheddar sandwich, lettuce and tomato, veggies and dip, sun chips and fruit. We look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow!
LMS families, students do not attend school on Friday, April 18. Monday and Tuesday, April 21-22, are spring break days. Students do not attend school those days. Wednesday through Friday, April 23-25 are instructional days. Students do attend school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
