Good evening LMS families! We will continue to accept school spirit gear shirt orders until this Friday. Also, we are wanting to celebrate our students who have perfect attendance weekly. In order for students to be considered to have perfect attendance, they have to be at school all day, meaning no tardies or early dismissals. We will have a weekly incentive for our students with perfect attendance. Thank you for your continued support and we hope you have a wonderful evening!
Good evening LMS families! Our reimagine day schedule has been posted to the school Facebook page. Since tomorrow is our first reimagine day, this school year, we are asking our teachers to get on Teams at their assigned times to be available to help any students. They will give your child an assignment to work on. We need to see who can get on and who can't. We realize that not everyone has internet access at home. If this is the case, make sure your child's teacher knows and work will be sent home for them to do during reimagine days. Due to previously scheduled faculty meetings tomorrow, there will be no read-a-loud or help hotline. If your child has any issues tomorrow or if you have any questions, feel free to call the school. Kindergarten through second grade teachers will be on Teams at 9:30. Grades 3 through 5 will be on at 10:00. One last reminder, Monday, January 16th, is Martin Luther King Jr. day and there is no school. We look forward to seeing your child back to school on Tuesday, January 17. Friday, January 13th will be a Re-Imagined Day for all Mercer County schools. Students will remain home and join their teachers in Teams meetings on their devices using the schedule previously provided by their school. Staff report to school on a two hour delay.

LMS is selling coffee mugs for $5 with a picture of our school on them and spirit gear. The deadline for ordering shirts or sweatshirts is January 13.
Good evening LMS families! We have a couple of reminders for you this evening. First, we are still selling school spirit gear until January 13. Order forms for the shirts and sweatshirts went home several weeks ago but we still have them in the office if you have misplaced yours. We also still have LMS coffee mugs for sale for $5. Next, just as a reminder, we want to keep all of our students and staff safe at all times. If you are picking up or dropping off in the loop, you cannot pass the car in front of you. You must wait until they pull out. Also, please be mindful of your speed as you enter and exit the parking lot. With safety in mind, no one should exceed 10 miles per hour in the parking lot. Finally, the end of the nine weeks is approaching. Report cards will be sent home on January 25. Have a wonderful weekend!
Good morning LMS families! I apologize for the short notice; however, due to staff illness, tutoring services after school have been cancelled for today.
Parents of LMS students, there are several accidents that have caused traffic to back up near the school. If you call the school and no one answers, please be patient and try again in a bit. Students who are at school are being supervised, and they are safe. Bus 656 and 636 have turned around and will be bringing students back home. You should have been contacted by those drivers.

Good evening LMS families! We have a couple of announcments for you this evening. Winners for the Social Studies fair projects will be announced on Monday afternoon. The snowflake king and queen will be announced Monday morning. Next week is Christmas spirit week. Monday is candy cane lane day. Wear red and white or candy cane design. Tuesday is holiday headgear day. Holiday headbands will be provided for all students from LMS student council. Wednesday is make the grinch grin day. Students are to wear their favorite Christmas color. Thursday is a 2 hour early dismissal and it is wear your favorite pajamas. We are super excited for next week and we have many surprises in store for our students!
