As winter weather approaches, we may decide to send devices home, just in case a Reimagine Day is called, due to weather conditions. When this happens, devices are to be returned the next school day.

Good evening Lashmeet Matoaka families! A couple of announcements this evening. The Mercer County Technical Education Center cosmetology students are offering free holiday haircuts to our students. They will be here Monday, December 12. We still have several spots open. If you are interested in this for your child, please call the school tomorrow. We need to have a signed permission slip returned before Monday. Next, the second grade is having a candy gram fundraiser. Students and parents are able to purchase candy canes to send to their friends, teachers, and anyone else. They are $1.00 each. Candy cane grams will be delivered the week of December 19. Money and forms need to be turned in by December 15. Let your child's teacher know if you need labels. Have a great evening!

Parents, if you are planning on ordering pictures from the first picture day, we need those by next Friday, December 16. Proofs were sent home. Good evening Lashmeet Matoaka families! We will begin our Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, November 23. We look forward to seeing our students back on Monday, November 28. Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 22, we are having a blue out to support our Lady Indians basketball team. Please have your child wear blue to school. Everyone is invited to attend their game tomorrow night at 6:00 P.M. at Mercer School. They will be playing the lady Owls of Oakvale. Come show your school spirit and support!
Good evening Lashmeet Matoaka families! We have a menu change this week. Tomorrow we will have tomato soup, hot ham and cheese sandwich, steamed broccoli, caesar salad, fruit, and milk. On Friday we will have turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade roll, apple sauce, pumpkin pie, and milk. Have a great evening!

Good evening Lashmeet Matoaka families! Tomorrow, November 9 is picture day. We are asking staff and students to wear blue tomorrow in memory of Catherine Selen, a Mercer County Schools teacher who passed away this weekend. Thursday, November 10 is a two hour early dismissal and Friday, November 11 is Election day. There will be no school on Friday, November 11. We will not sell popcorn on Thursday due to the early dismissal.
