Good evening LMs families! Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Valentine dance for grades PK-2. Money and a permission slip should be sent in by tomorrow morning in order for your child to stay after school. The dance for grades 3-5 is on Thursday, February 9. Snacks will be sold ranging from $1.00 t0 $3.00. With this event being right after school, is just for students. We have an event planned in March for students and parents. Good evening LMS families! Installation of our new gym floor will begin this week. Until this project is completed, students will need to enter the building by the main entrance. We will have extra staff available to monitor the students as they enter the building. Please be patient, as pick-up may take a little longer since students aren't in the locker room. Good evening LMS families ! I want to share some important information and reminders with you. Wednesday, February 1, is the 100th day of school. Each classroom will have activities and celebrations surrounding the number 100. We will begin our next tutoring session on Monday, January 30. If this involves your child, you would have received a call last Thursday and a permission slip is going home today. The permission slip shows which day your child will stay. If your child stays for tutoring, remember the pick up time is 3:45. We currently have several fundraisers going on to help raise money for our new gym floor that will be installed soon. You should have received information concerning a pepperoni cheese roll sale and a Valentine dance for our students. Fifth grade will be having a fundraiser next Friday, February 3, to raise money for their end of year field trip. For $1.00, students will be allowed to wear a hat that day. Money will be given to their homeroom teacher. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
