Mercer County Principals received training from Dr. Ashley Vaughn on WV Balanced Scorecard Methodology and Reducing Chronic Absenteeism by Russell Lippencott.

PikeView Middle School administration has become aware of a potential threat to school safety. Investigation by school administrators and WV State Police identified the students involved and appropriate disciplinary action was taken immediately by the school. WV State Police are continuing to investigate the incident in coordination with the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

UPDATE: BUS 649 WILL NOT RUN TODAY, 10/17/23. One of our buses was involved in an accident on 460 this morning. The bus did not have students on it at the time. We are thankful the bus driver and aide are not hurt, but both are being checked out by medical professionals.
