BUS INFORMATION: Bus 617 will not run this afternoon, January 19th. This affects Bluewell, Glenwood, and Princeton High. If your child normally rides bus 617, they will need to be picked up at the school.
The lockdowns at Bluefield Primary, Bluefield Intermediate, Bluefield Middle, and Bluefield High have all been lifted. The suspect is in custody.
Bluefield Primary, Bluefield Intermediate, Bluefield Middle, and Bluefield High are all under a cautionary lockdown. due to the pursuit of a suspect in the Bland County, Virginia area. When the lockdown is lifted, a post will appear on our social media and website.

Friday, January 13th will be a Re-Imagined Day for all Mercer County schools. Students will remain home and join their teachers in Teams meetings on their devices using the schedule previously provided by their school. Staff report to school on a two hour delay.
Sun Valley School will be closed today, Wednesday, January 11th due to a power outage. Students who are already on school buses on their way to school will still be delivered to school and parents may pick them up. The principal is at the school.
