Mercer County Schools Parent Advisory Council met this morning at the Seminar Center. Topics discussed were the Third Grade Success Act, iReady, and digital tools parents can use to help their students at home.

The Princeton Middle/PikeView Middle volleyball game was a Dig Pink game to support Breast Cancer Awareness. They had a raffle prize and donated the money to the Princeton Community Foundation.

Montcalm High students got to "Get A Life" today! Students were assigned a job with a salary, and then "visited" the car dealership, the real estate office, the insurance office, the furniture store, and many others to see how far their salary would stretch. A big thank you to the businesses who participated today: MCOI, WVNS 59 News, Bluefield State University, Community Connections, City National Bank, Concord University, and Mercer County Board Member, Jim Bailey.
