Students from 9th grade in Mercer County Schools had an exciting opportunity to attend WVU Tech's Stories with STEAM-The Appalachian Circuit featuring Small Town Universe. During their visit, they met Small Town Universe director Katie Dellamaggiore and the president of WVU Tech, Dr. Raymond Steward. Students learned about filmmaking, producing, and career paths related to the film industry and STEM. They also had the chance to preview the movie Small Town Universe and dive into the fascinating documentary of the Green Bank Observatory in WV. Special thanks to WVU Tech for inviting our students to take part in this amazing opportunity!
