Princeton Middle School held an “Awards Certificate Signing” this morning for all of our robotics teams that won awards at the Mercer County Vex IQ county competitions which were held at Princeton High on January 27th and February 17th. Putting in many hours of hard work building, testing and refining their robots, these students have developed skills in teamwork, coding, measurement and engineering, not to mention the socialization skills that they develop while working with others at competitions.
We are very proud of all of our robotics students and all they have accomplished and are looking forward to attending the state Vex IQ robotics competition next week in Fairmont, WV! 😊
BUS ROUTE CHANGES for Friday, March 8th
Bus 640 will not run today and affects Lashmeet Matoaka, Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High;. However children that live on Bicknal Flats and the lower part of Reese Harmon Ridge will ride Bus 636. Children that live on upper part of Reese Harmon Ridge will ride Bus 656.
Both 636 and 656 may be late 10-15 minutes due to additional stops.
Bus 638 will not run today which affects Athens, Sun Valley, Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High; however the students that live on Old Lerona and Browns Ridge will ride Bus 626. Bus 637 will transport the students that live on Bent Mountain Road.
Expect buses 626 and 637 to be late due to extra stops this morning.
Bus 644 will not run today and affects Melrose, Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High. However, Melrose students will ride bus 653 and Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High students will ride bus 639.
Bus 679 will not run today and affects Brushfork, Bluefield Middle and Bluefield High; however all of these students will ride bus 624.
