You never know what you might see when you visit a Pre-K classroom. You may see painting, singing, dancing, and building. You could also see baby chicks hatching in real life if you visit Mrs. Cottle's and Mrs. Janelle's class at Mountain Valley. Amber Riffe, Elementary/Pre-K Supervisor and students got to experience this firsthand today.

Construction and improvement updates! Athens School is continuing to have new windows installed. This week is mostly in the gym area. At Spanishburg, wiring of BARDs (HVAC units) and finishing some hallway ductwork is underway. At Bluefield High, the company installing the new HVAC has spent most nights finishing the control wiring. And at the new Timberwood Elementary, the main entrance was poured, topped the ICF walls in the gymnasium and cafeteria, and worked on the elevator pit.
