Today in Mr. Hodges's "Discover Your Future" class at PikeView Middle School, students explored the magic of storytelling! They read and analyzed children's books to uncover literary devices like metaphors, symbolism, and personification. Learning through literature is always an adventure!





Yesterday evening, teachers across the county were participating in PLC's-a way for teachers to collaborate on best practices in reading and math instruction. Pre-K teachers met to work on STEM and standards. Kindergarten and 1st grade teachers received training from Emily Smith, principal at Brushfork, on "Let's Talk Math".
