What is your favorite part of the school day? #MissingSchoolMissingOut

We are counting down the days!

We are counting down the days!

Students at the Early Learning Center ended their THRIVE program with a dance party in space!! The kids had an absolute blast. Hope you all have an out of this world summer break!

Summer SLIME Program - students participating in our Summer THRIVE Program had a slimy good time making slime and getting slimed.

As part of our Summer THRIVE Program, students had the opportunity to look for constellations and letters in space. The kids really enjoyed thinking they were in space and playing with the flashlights. All the while, they learned about stars, constellations and had to find letters hidden on the walls.

Did someone say FOAM PARTY? The Early Learning Center wrapped up the year with our annual FUN DAY! The highlight of the day had to be the FOAM PARTY. Our students had an absolute blast playing in the foam, throwing wet sponges at Mr. Hayes, dancing in the dance party and playing in the sprinkler. Hoping these guys have a great summer and a wonderful year in Kindergarten.

All schools in Mercer County will dismiss 2 hours early on Friday, May 27th. The early learning center will dismiss at noon. Thanks and have a great evening.

Our cafeteria has transformed into a classroom thanks to the hard work of our dedicated faculty and staff. Ms. Tibbs and Mrs. Thornhill's (Moorman) classes have moved their entire classrooms into the cafeteria. Thanks to Mary Kate Tibbs, Melissa Moorman, Emily Sisk and Angela Farley for all of their hard work. Our students seem very excited about this adventure.

In honor of Read Across America Week students in Bernice White and Jamie Mitchem's classroom made a Foot Book. Kids had an absolute blast doing this except for the fire drill that occurred while they had their shoes off. OOOPS!
However, the kids got their shoes back on in record time.

In like a lion or a lamb? Students in Karen Thornhill's classroom predict what the weather will be for March by creating masks and tracking their data.
