We had the pleasure of celebrating our Teacher of the Year nominee, Sydney Saunders, last night at the Chuck Mathena Center. Sydney is the epitome of a Pre-K teacher. She conducts wonderful science experiments which her kids absolutely love. MCELC is truly blessed to have Sydney Saunders on our staff.

Students in Ms. Sydney and Ms. Becky's classroom learned counting, measuring and colors by making slime. Needless to say, the kids had a great time and found out that slime is not easy to remove from hair. Lesson learned.
