Montcalm Families, the following message is for Math Field Day participants. Those meeting at Concord, need to be there by 9:15 am. It will be a compressed schedule. Lunch will be from 12:30 -1:00 and awards will be at 1:15 pm. If riding to and from the competition, please be at school by 9:15 am. For the afternoon, please prepare for parent pick-up in case we do not make it back in time for buses. Stay warm and have a great evening!
Montcalm Families, There will not be robotics practice this afternoon, Thursday, November 21st 2024. Students will be sent home via their normal transportation. Please plan accordingly and thank you for your understanding.
Montcalm Families, due to the weather forecast, we will have a menu change. We will be having our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20th 2024 instead of Thursday. We appreciate your understanding.
Montcalm Families, please listen for two important reminders. First, we will not be having tutoring after school on Wednesday. Students will be sent home in their usual manner. Please plan accordingly. Second, we are unable to change transportation for students after 2 pm. This causes confusion and affects the safety of our students. If your child needs a change in transportation, please bring in a note. If students are going home together, we need a note from both parents. We appreciate your cooperation in these matters.

Monday-"Stand Up to Bullying" Students and staff wear Orange attire.
Tuesday-"Hat Day to say Put a Cap on Bullying"-Students and staff wear their favorite hat to say Put a Cap on Bullying.
Wednesday-Wacky/Tacky Shirt Day"-Students and staff wear a wacky/tacky shirt apparel to say Bullying is way too Wacky/Tacky so let’s put a stop to it.
Thursday-"Sock Day as to say Sock it to Bullying"-Students and staff wear their favorite most decorative socks and wear blue attire.
Friday-" Our School Chooses to Be Bullying Free”-Students and staff wear their Montcalm School shirts attire to school.
Montcalm Families, there is no tutoring after school today, October 30th, 2024. Students will be sent home via their normal means this afternoon. If you need to make other arrangements, please let us know at the school. The Run Club will still meet this afternoon.
Montcalm Families, please listen for two important reminders. First, tomorrow, October 23rd 2024 is picture day. Please remember that students should avoid wearing fluorescent colors. Second, the Boltz run club will be held tomorrow after school from 2:30 until 3:30. Please make sure your students bring appropriate clothes and shoes for physical activity. Have a wonderful evening. Montcalm Families, this is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, October 14th 2024 is picture day. Tuesday is also set-up day for the school science fair. Students should bring their projects with them and take them to their classrooms. Projects will be set up by class. Finally, we hope you are able to join us at our LSIC stakeholders meeting on Wednesday October 16th 2024 at 2:45pm in the cafeteria. This is an excellent opportunity to let your voice be heard and help us make Montcalm Elementary the best it can be.

Montcalm Families, The LSIC Stakeholders meeting will be held at Montcalm elementary on Oct. 16th at 2:45pm in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited. The Stakeholders meeting is an opportunity to focus on what we are doing well, what we need to do better, and to focus on our facility. Montcalm Families, we would like to invite you to our fall Title I parent engagement night on October 7th 2024 from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. We will be celebrating Montcalm Elementary School's birthday and presenting parents with some "present" resources.
