Montcalm Families, due to the weather forecast for Monday, we will be moving our Veteran's Day parade and breakfast to Wednesday morning, November 12th 2025. We appreciate your understanding.
Montcalm Families, If students ride 660- Joyce peters home in the evening and live on Black Oak, Rock River, 71 past Rock River Intersection, and Wrights Mountain the bus will be delayed by about 25 minutes. If students ride 688- Kevin Kendrick home in the evening and live past sandlick junction expect the bus to be delayed by about 25 minutes. Also, bus 689 does have a substitute and WILL run this afternoon.
Montcalm Families, The Code Green Lockdown for Montcalm Elementary has now been lifted. Students and staff are safe. Buses to Rock River Road, Wright Mountain, Blackoak and Sandlick road will be re-routed this afternoon which will cause some delay. We appreciate your understanding.

Montcalm Families, if anyone ordered doughnuts from the 2nd grade fundraiser, those will be here tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 22nd 2025. Please be here by 7am to pick them up outside the 2nd grade classroom. Please try to pick up all orders by 7:45am or 3:15pm at the latest.

Montcalm Families, we hope to see everyone out at our Title I Fall Parent Engagement this evening from 5:15-6:30. Parents will be able attend sessions on AI, Rooms, Canva, Cybersafety, and Clever. We will have bounce houses for the students while parents attend sessions. We look forward to a fun and informative evening with you! Also, tutoring will begin tomorrow. Montcalm Families, please plan to attend our Title I Fall Parent Engagement activity on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:15 pm until 6:30 pm. Please arrive between 5:15 and 5:30 to get signed in so we can begin promptly at 5:30. Sessions will include AI Ethics, Rooms, Canva, Clever and Cybersafety. Games and activities will be provided for students while parents attend the sessions. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 7th!
Montcalm Families, one lane of Lorton Lick is now open. Buses and cars will be able to pass through.
Montcalm Families, Lorton Lick Road is currently closed between Simmons River Road and the fire department. This will cause delays for some of our buses this morning as alternate routes will need to be used. This will also affect travel for anyone bringing students to school. Please plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience.
Montcalm Families, this is a reminder that robotics practice will begin this evening from 2:30- 4:30. The next practice will be Friday at the same time. This schedule will change to Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 in the future. Mr. Austin sent home information for joining TeamReach yesterday. He will keep the teams updated from there throughout the season. We look forward to a successful year!
