🌞 Summer Learning Spotlight 🌞
Meet Preston (upcoming 6th grader) and Grayson (upcoming 1st grader) from Montcalm Elementary! These adventurous brothers are participating in the Wilderness Explorer program at Animal Kingdom 🦁🌍
One of the coolest facts they’ve learned? Gorillas can’t smile! Instead, they stick out their bottom lip—what looks like a pout is actually a gorilla grin! 🦍💕
Way to keep learning and exploring this summer, Preston and Grayson! #MercerExplores #SummerLearningSpotlight #WildernessExplorers #MercerProud

Montcalm Families, there will NOT be tutoring for the remainder of the school year. Unless students are staying for Run Club, they will be returning home by their normal method on Wednesday afternoons. Also, tomorrow will be our first Purple Up day. By taking part in this, we will join communities across our state and nation in honoring military-connected children by wearing purple (a mix of all military branch colors). April is the Month of the Military Child. Please help us close it out by wearing purple tomorrow. Have a wonderful evening.

Montcalm Families, we will NOT be having run club or tutoring tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23rd 2025. Students will be sent home as usual. Please plan accordingly and thank you for your assistance.

Montcalm Families, Please listen for a few important announcements. First, Bunny Grams are due on Monday. Please make sure you have those in by Monday morning. Second, Cars should remain across the road until 2:15pm at least. This allows time for buses to get to the school and get parked and also for students to get inside from the playgrounds at the end of the day. Third, due to safety concerns with dropping students off and cars moving in opposite directions, once the cones are in place at 7:30am, students will need to be signed in, in the office. Cars that are around the building will be allowed to drop off, so please plan your trip to arrive prior to 7:30am. Finally, just a reminder that our campus as well as all schools in Mercer County are smoke free. We appreciate your assistance in all of these matters and hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Montcalm Families, due to the current power outage and uncertainty as to when it will come back on we will not be having run club or tutoring this afternoon. We will send students home via their usual method.

Montcalm Families, run club will be held after school today from 2:30pm until 3:30pm. This will continue each Wednesday for the next 6-8 weeks.
