Melrose School had the sweetest visitor today. Ms. Phyllis Akers, former teacher at Melrose stopped by the school. She taught at Melrose from 1973-2003. She brought some delicious baked goodies for the staff. She toured the school and shared some wonderful stories. They cannot wait for her to return for a visit.

A big shoutout to Mercer County Schools plumbers Cody Neal and Steve Clowers for their hard work fixing a main water line leak at Oakvale today on this rainy day! Our Maintenance Department keeps our facilities in tip-top shape!



Mercer County Schools had another great night of robotics! We have a total of 45 teams that have competed this week. We look forward to seeing their skills grow in our next round of competition in November.

Pre-K teachers and administrators joined Amber Riffe, Pre-K/Elementary Supervisor for part two of their Child Outcome Summaries training yesterday. Teachers participated in a strategy session that will connect to their next Pre-K professional learning community in Math.
