Today is the day!! Come out to Princeton Senior High to see Mercer County Robotics teams compete in the championship. It's a full day of competitions starting at 9:00 a.m. and wrapping up about 4:00 p.m. No admission fee.
We are looking for local businesses to participate in our Reverse Career Fair for CTE students at the MCTEC Seminar Center on Friday, March 15, 2024. Business partners can visit student booths from 10:00-11:15 a.m. for the morning session and 12:45-2:00 p.m. for the afternoon session. You will have the opportunity to talk with both senior students and adult students in programs like welding, automotive technology, law and public safety, cosmetology, culinary, masonry, and more! Bluefield High School Senior, Nathan Yost, was surprised by his principal, teachers, and fellow students for being named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Montcalm High School will dismiss at 10:30 am this morning due to a power outage. Buses will pick up students at 10:30. Those who do not ride a school bus will wait in the cafeteria for parents to pick them up.
Telephone systems at Montcalm High School, Montcalm Elementary, Bluewell, Lashmeet Matoaka, and Silver Springs are currently down. We do not have an estimated time when it will be restored.

Bluewell Elementary is experiencing a power outage. Students who have already been dropped off by a school bus or parent are being supervised in a central location until parents can get there to pick them up.

Bus 650: power lines and pole are down on Coaldale Mountain. The driver can meet students at the Pop Shop at 7:00 am. This affects Montcalm Elementary and Montcalm High
Athens Elementary School will be closed to students today, Tuesday, February 13th due to a power outage. Staff will report 2 hours late.
Mercer County Schools has used 4 built in snow days.
