Several Mercer County students participated in the Mercer County Special Olympics Basketball tournament. Athletes competed in skills events and were awarded medals based on their scores. The Mercer County Special Olympics Cheer team also preformed their routine for their fans as well. Mr. Toman along with teachers attended to cheer everyone on. There are so many great programs available for all students in Mercer County to participate with and great staff to support them along the way!

Mrs. Krista Kessinger, Director of Child Nutrition, had the pleasure of eating lunch at Spanishburg, where she had a wonderful conversation with a bright group of 4th graders. They discussed ideas and ways to improve our menus. Mrs. Kessinger loved hearing their creative input!

FYI: Attention Spanishburg families: the WVDOT is drilling holes at the road fall in by the old Taylor's Meat Packing Plant today. Each time they drill, it will delay traffic movement by 15 minutes. Routes may be delayed this afternoon.
