Mrs. Mitchem’s 7th grade science classes designed and conducted an experiment to determine if blade size affects drop time for paper copters. They utilized the scientific method and then brainstormed about other experiments we could conduct to learn more about how copters fly.
Mrs. Mitchem’s 6th grade science classes learned about the many principles of flying paper airplanes while using the scientific method to design and conduct an experiment to determine the type of paper that achieves the greatest flying distance.

Mrs Mitchem’s 7 th grade science class competed to see which team could build the tallest tower using gummy pumpkins, marshmallows and toothpicks. There were some great ideas used in building these structures.
Mrs. Mitchem’s 6 th grade science class put in their sleuth hats to solve the mystery of the missing Halloween costume. They followed the clues, examined the evidence and solved the crime! So proud of their hard work.
Mrs. Mitchem’s 6 th grade science class had fun designing a tool that could pick up the most spiders in 30 seconds! They had some great ideas.

Boys Basketball will have open gym tomorrow, November 1st, after school. Students who want to participate will leave on the second bell. It ends at 5 pm and all students must have a ride.
