Today at PMS, students from the 'Class of 2029' signed "Promise to Graduate" contracts with their counselors and principals! "Promise to Graduate" constitutes a pledge, by the student at their current grade level, to graduate high school. We are proud of these young students for making the pledge! :)
CAREER FAIR! - PMS will be having our annual Career Fair next TUESDAY, JUNE 3. Students will get the chance to see some really cool demonstrations. Presentations will include (but not limited to) the following businesses: Timken Southern Highlands Princeton Library DHHR Chuck Mathena Center Princeton Fire Department Princeton Rescue 1st Sentinel Bank 1st Community Bank Conn Weld City of Princeton Princeton Police Wilderness Water Company New River Technical Community College WVU Hospital Bluefield State University Concord University WVVA Mercer County Animal Shelter Veterans Hats N More Mercer County Technical Center-Kim Rotenberry Horace Mann Mercer Co Sheriff's Dept - will be bringing the K-9s! We think the students will really enjoy the career fair! We hope to see as many students in attendance as possible for this FUN-FILLED day! :)
Ms. Lucas and Ms. Mitchem's students are working on bridge designs. They sketched their design and then received a short intro on the Tinkercad platform today from Mr. O'Dell so that they could create their sketches as a 3D model! Students were completely immersed in the lesson!
