Let’s show our support for public education by filling the halls with RED!

We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Monday, February 16, 2026.
We look forward to seeing everyone's excitement as we celebrate this special day!

This is a reminder regarding our Trash to Treasure competition:
We are 2 weeks away from our school-level competition (it is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 16, 2026).
This is open to any Pre-K through 5th grade student. If your child is interested in turning in a project, please let his/her teacher know and an abstract will be sent home (projects without an abstract will not be considered).

Due to popular demand, we need any family who is interested in attending this event to send back the form no later than Thursday, February 12. Be sure to mark which time slot you plan to attend. You'll enter through the gym doors at the start of your selected time, receive a brief training from the Title I staff, then be directed to another location to receive a Lego kit/various other supplies to do with your child.
We look forward to seeing you!

We hope you're enjoying learning more about our staff here at MVES.

One of Mrs. Fulp's second graders got the opportunity to go to PreK to talk to them about dinosaurs. We are so proud of him for having the confidence to go and share his dinosaur knowledge with them!

If your student would like to participate and needs another form, please contact the school or your child's teacher.
The school social studies fair is scheduled to take place on January 27, 2026

Mrs. Cottle and Ms. Autrey's class had a very special visitor. Santa made everyone's day! We hope you all have a wonderful Winter break!

And now we'll post up our NEW "Guess Who" trivia question. Post your guess in the comments below. We'll post the answer in a few days.

After a huge success collecting dog and cat food for the Mercer County Animal Shelter at the Princeton Walmart, Mountain Valley Elementary is heading back for another act of kindness—this time for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.
Join them this Friday, December 19, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. for a “power hour” at the red kettle, complete with cheerful caroling and lots of holiday spirit.
Stop by, say hello, and help these folks continue spreading kindness throughout our community.
