Mountain Valley was represented well at the county Trash to Treasure Ceremony!
Paytenn was awarded 1st place in Division II (Grades 3-5) in the Paper/Cardboard category. Then she was also awarded 1st place in the entire county in the Paper/Cardboard category!
Mackenzie was awarded 3rd place in Division II (Grades 3-5) in the Paper/Cardboard category.
Alaxander was awarded 2nd place in Division I (Grades PreK -2) in the Metal category.
Lilly was awarded 3rd place in Division I (Grades PreK-2) in the Paper/Cardboard category.

This team did an absolutely astounding job at Battle of the Books! They made it all the way to the round before semi-finals. This is one super competitive group! And what's even more awesome about them...is they're a true team and more like family. Mountain Valley is so proud of them and all the kiddos from around the county that competed.
