Montcalm Families, our summer THRIVE program will kick off tomorrow, June 6th 2022. Our program will run from 8am until 1:30pm Monday through Thursday. Regional bus stops will be utilized rather than individual stops at homes. Mr. Kendrick (bus 614) and Ms. Williams (bus 672) will be making the following stops beginning tomorrow. These schedules are subject to change.

Due to concerns regarding parking and having moving vehicles around so many students, we are asking that only those PTO parents and volunteers that are setting up and running games attend Field Day Fun Day tomorrow. Our goal is to keep our students and their environment as safe as possible as we move to and from the field. Thank you for your understanding.

Montcalm Families, Bus 614 - Kevin Kendrick’s bus has broken down. He will be running at least 30-40 minutes behind this morning. Thank You.
On Friday we were thrilled to have the Graduating seniors from Montcalm High School come to walk the halls of Montcalm Elementary, meet up with some of their former teachers, and inspire our youngsters to continue to push forward before they finish up their final year. Thank you to Montcalm High for sharing these folks with us for just a little while longer.
Attention Montcalm Families: As we finish up another school year we would like to make you aware of some important dates.
Moving Up Day will be May 24. Pre-K through Second grades will be from 9:00-9:30. 3rd through 5th with be from 9:30-10:00. Parents are invited to come meet their child's teacher for next school year.
Pre-K and Kindergarten will have their Awards programs on May 27. Kindergarten will begin at 8:30. Pre-K will begin at 9:15.
Awards Day for 1st through 6th will be on May 31 following this schedule.
First grade 8:30, Second Grade 9:05, Third Grade 9:30, Fourth Grade 10:05, Fifth Grade 10:40 and Sixth Grade at 5:30.

This message is for families of students participating in PE Field Day tomorrow.
Students participating in Field Day must be at school on time tomorrow.
The bus will leave from Montcalm Elementary at 7:45 AM
PE Field Day is being held at Concord University.
The events will start at approximately 9AM
Students must pack a lunch or bring money for the concession stand. We will not return to school until after 1PM.
Students will not be allowed to ride back with their parents, they must ride the bus back to school before being released to go home.
Attention Montcalm families: This is a reminder that 3rd and 6th graders will begin taking the WV General Summative Assessment tomorrow. Please encourage your student to get a good night’s sleep, take their time and do their best as we proceed with these assessments. Also please be sure their laptops are charged. Montcalm Families, we have a very limited number of extra yearbooks which we will be offering for sale on a first come, first served basis beginning on Monday, May 16th 2022. We will sell them through May 20th 2022 or until the year books are sold out. To purchase a year book, we ask that you come to the main office between 7:30am and 8:30am and bring 11 dollars in cash or a check to cover the cost of the yearbook. We apologize, but yearbooks cannot be held by calling the office.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have Kids Run the Nation this afternoon. Students will be sent home via their normal mode of transportation. The Race will still go on as planned tomorrow evening at Princeton City Park. Those participating should be at the park by 5:30 pm.
