This message is for families of students participating in PE Field Day tomorrow.
Students participating in Field Day must be at school on time tomorrow.
The bus will leave from Montcalm Elementary at 7:45 AM
PE Field Day is being held at Concord University.
The events will start at approximately 9AM
Students must pack a lunch or bring money for the concession stand. We will not return to school until after 1PM.
Students will not be allowed to ride back with their parents, they must ride the bus back to school before being released to go home.
Attention Montcalm families: This is a reminder that 3rd and 6th graders will begin taking the WV General Summative Assessment tomorrow. Please encourage your student to get a good night’s sleep, take their time and do their best as we proceed with these assessments. Also please be sure their laptops are charged. Have a wonderful evening!
Montcalm Families, we have a very limited number of extra yearbooks which we will be offering for sale on a first come, first served basis beginning on Monday, May 16th 2022. We will sell them through May 20th 2022 or until the year books are sold out. To purchase a year book, we ask that you come to the main office between 7:30am and 8:30am and bring 11 dollars in cash or a check to cover the cost of the yearbook. We apologize, but yearbooks cannot be held by calling the office.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have Kids Run the Nation this afternoon. Students will be sent home via their normal mode of transportation. The Race will still go on as planned tomorrow evening at Princeton City Park. Those participating should be at the park by 5:30 pm.

The following buses will not run tomorrow, Friday, May 6th. Bus 597 and bus 660, which affects Montcalm Elementary and Montcalm High.
ATTENTION BLUEWELL AND MONTCALM SCHOOLS PARENTS: Bus 672 will not run this afternoon. Parents, please arrange for transportation after school today if your child rides bus 672. This affects Bluewell, Montcalm Elementary, and Montcalm High.
Montcalm Elemetary begins our One Book One School today with The Boxcar Children. Along with this, we will be completing a service project. We will have a box set up to collect new pairs of socks to be donated to Amy's House of Hope. If you want to participate, simply bring in a NEW pair of socks and add it to our "Sock Box". We hope for good participation and we are excited to read a good book!
Montcalm Families, Several buses are running later than usual due to paving in town. 614 is about 15-20 minutes later than usual. 660 was also running later than usual.
Attention Montcalm families: We are asking everyone to wear blue on Wednesday, April 27 in honor of Autism Awareness and Acceptance month.
Bus 650 will not run tomorrow, Monday, April 25th. This affects Montcalm Elementary and Montcalm High.

Our Montcalm Elementary TEAMS meeting schedule will be the same as the schedule we used previously on Remote Learning occasions. Feel free to call the school if you have questions or concerns.
Friday, April 15th 2022 will be a 2 hour early dismissal. We will begin dismissing at 12:25.
The Montcalm Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their second annual community Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 16th 2022. Registration begins at 12pm and the hunt begins at 1pm.
Montcalm families, the last day to order year books for this school year will be Monday, April 4th, 2022. If you want a year book, please make sure to return your order form and payment by that time.
Montcalm Families, we will not be having Thrive Tutoring today, March 30th 2022. Students will be sent home via their normal afternoon transportation.

Montcalm Families! Tomorrow, Monday March 21st 2022 is World Down Syndrome Day. We are asking our students to wear crazy socks in support of individuals with Down Syndrome. We look forward to seeing those crazy socks!
