LMS families, this is a friendly reminder regarding the Valentine's dance tomorrow after school. Students attending will stay after school and it will begin at 2:30. All students must be picked up no later than 4:00. Students will be dismissed from the loop like end of day dismissal. Students will be chaperoned by faculty and staff of LMS. Admission is $5 and students can bring money for concessions and pictures.
Good evening LMS families! On Thursday, February 8, we will be celebrating the 100th day of school and being 100 days smarter. Each classroom has different activities they are planning. Students can dress like they are 100 years old or wear a shirt with 100 items on it. It is that time of year to start thinking about registering for preschool next year. If you have a child that turns four years old before July 1, 2024, they qualify. We have applications available here at the school and they are due by March 8.
LMS parents, we will have a bus bringing students home for Scotty Barlow's bus 640 this afternoon. . Please be advised that they may be late arriving home due to the bus driver having to run his regular route to take students home. If you have questions, feel free to call the school.

Good evening LMS families! We have a couple of announcements and reminders. First, we will not have Bible Club on Wednesday, January, 31. Next, as a reminder, Mercer County's Attendance Policy J-10, prohibits students from being released during the last 30 minutes of the school day. Students cannot be signed out after 1:50 P.M. This policy helps ensure that students do not lose valuable instructional time at the end of the school day. Emergencies will be considered, if and when they arise. Finally, preschool parents, if you haven't completed the Kindergarten inquiry form, please return tomorrow. It can be found in your child's folder. Thank you!
5th grade parents, PVMS is sorry that they had to cancel the basketball game on January 18th. However, they are excited to offer you another opportunity to attend a game. You can choose to attend the game on February 5th when our girls' basketball team plays Eastern Greenbrier starting at 5:30, or you can choose to attend the game on February 6th when our boys' basketball team plays Eastern Greenbrier starting at 5:30. LMS families, as a reminder, tomorrow is our Social Studies Fair. We started a Book Blast book drive today. Your child should be bringing information home today. Also, check our Facebook page for more information. We do have some menu changes this week. Tomorrow we will have cheeseburgers with lettuce and tomato, potato wedges, macaroni salad, fruit, and milk. The menu for Wednesday will be meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade roll, grapes, and milk. Thursday is three cheese calzone with marinara sauce, caesar salad, carrots, apple wedges, and milk. On Friday, we will have pepperoni cheese rolls, corn, baked beans fruit, and milk.
LMS families, fifth grade students received a ticket to attend the PVMS basketball game this evening for free.That game has been cancelled due to the weather forecast. We will let you know when it will be rescheduled.
