Bluefield High School Students: Reminder: The Bluefield High School Summer Credit Recovery program will begin tomorrow, June 13th. The hours will be from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Please call BHS if you have any questions or would like to sign up. There are spots still available. If you signed up and need bus transportation, your driver should have contacted you about pickup times. Again, if you have any questions, please call Bluefield High at 304-325-9116.

Beaver Nation: Good Luck to the Bluefield High School Baseball team as they take on the Shady Spring Tigers for the Regional Championship and a trip to the WV State Baseball Tournament. Important Graduation Information: Attention Graduating Seniors, Parents and or Guardians. The Bluefield High School Graduation will be tonight at 7pm in the Bluefield High School Auditorium. All guests must have a ticket to attend the BHS graduation. Doors will open at 6:00pm. Parking will be available at Bluefield High School and Bluefield Primary School. Carpooling is strongly suggested. No parking will be allowed in the front circle of the school. Graduates are reminded to be at BHS by 6:15. Please report to the gym. Go Beavers!

Bluefield High School Seniors: Due to the projected weather forecast and weather conditions for Friday and Saturday morning, the BHS Graduation will be at the Bluefield High School Auditorium on Friday, May 27 at 7pm. Each Senior will receive 8 tickets for their guests. Unfortunately, weather forecast is not conducive for setup, practice and graduation. Graduation practice will be held Thursday, May 26 at 10am in the auditorium.

Beaver Nation: Due to field conditions, tonight’s Regional Baseball Game vs Shady Spring has been postponed. The game is rescheduled for Wednesday, May 25th at 6pm at Bowen Field. Tickets will be $7. Go Beavers!!

Beaver Nation: The Bluefield Beavers Baseball team will take on the Shady Spring Tigers in the Regional Championship this week. The format will be a Best of 3 game series. The winner will move on to the WV State Baseball Tournament. The schedule will be as follows and weather permitting: Monday- 5/23 - Shady Spring at Bluefield Tuesday - 5/24 - Bluefield at Shady Spring Wednesday 5/25 - Shady Spring at Bluefield (if needed) Games will begin at 6pm. Beaver Nation: Congratulations to the Bluefield High Beaver Baseball team for capturing the Sectional Championship tonight vs Wyoming East. The Beavers defeated the Warriors 4-2. The Beavers will take on the winner of the Independence and Shady Spring Sectional matchup! Go Beavers!!

Today the Bluefield High School Chick-fil-a Leader Academy hosted a Student/Faculty Game to benefit the Women’s Center of Mercer County! Since Mr. Gilbert’s donation box made the most money, he got the prize of kissing a GOAT! Thank you to the students that attended the game and raised money for a great cause! Go Beavers!

Beaver Nation! What a great evening of bringing back these awesome BHS Alumni to battle each other for a great cause! Our Alumni included classes ranging from 2007 to 2020! The Bluefield High School Chick-fil-a Leader Academy hosted a benefit alumni game tonight! All proceeds went to the Women’s Center for Mercer County. This was the Leader Academy’s Service Project for the year! Great turnout to watch these BHS greats get at it on the court! Go Beavers !

Beaver Nation! Big week for the Bluefield High Theatre Department. They will be performing Footloose this week, May 5 - 8. Today was their first performance for the area schools. Thank you Bluefield Middle, Princeton Middle and Pikeview High for coming and watching our students perform. The remaining schedule for our Footloose performances will be as follows: May 6 - Bluefield High students only. May 7 - 7pm for public performance. May 8 - 3pm for public performance. Admission for the public will be $12 for adults and $6 for students. Please come and see our wonderful students perform Footloose!
