Every day is School Lunch Hero Day at Athens, but today we will especially recognize these three ladies who work diligently every day to make sure our students at Athens are fed with nutritional, delicious food. Thank you for all your hard work! You are much appreciated by us all!
ATTENTION: Do not forget to send in a signed permission slip for your child by tomorrow morning, Friday May 6th. If your child does not have a signed permission slip by tomorrow (Friday) morning, they will not be permitted to go on the field trip to see Dog Man at the Chuck Mathena Center.

Mrs. Brown’s kindergarten class explored a sink/float activity using everyday items in plastic eggs. They had so much fun decided what would sink or float. 😊
Today, Mrs. Brinkley’s Kindergartners read Rechenka’s Eggs by Patricia Polacco and designed their very own. They used the crayon resist method for coloring their eggs. 🌈

Monday, April 11th is our Spring Picture/Class Picture Day!! ALL orders are prepay. Students who would like a Spring Picture taken must prepay with the given envelope with payment and/or online order. Students must bring envelope with payment by Monday or order online by Monday at 11am. If your student does not have payment or online order, they will not have their Spring Picture taken. Mrs. Brinkley’s Kindergarten students read Zinnia’s Flower Garden and planted some flowers of their own. We are all excited to watch them grow. 🌸
We are so proud of all our students at Athens!! Not only did our students work hard to meet our donation goal, they raised over $10,000 for The American Heart Association! Congratulations to AubryLynn Kinzer for having the most donations.
Today was the best day!! All of our students had fun jumping rope, playing poison ball, exercising, listening to music, and having fun! Thank you Mr. Haye for organizing this event and making it so much more for all of us! ♥️
