BUS INFORMATION: Bus 613 will not run today, Thursday, October 27th. This affects Oakvale, Pikeview Middle and Pikeview High.
Five of our elementary virtual students were recently recognized by their virtual teachers for their hard work and efforts. These students and their families are fully utilizing the Proximity program and succeeding! We are so proud of their diligence!

The practice lockdown at Bluefield High has now been lifted.
Bluefield High School is under a routine, practice lockdown. Law enforcement officers and canines are on the scene. There is no threat.

Bus 624 will not run today, Wednesday October 19th. This affects Brushfork, Bluefield Middle and Bluefield High
Mercer County Schools hosted the WV Advisory Council for the Education of Exceptional Children on Thursday and Friday of last week. Members of the WVDE were in attendance as well as other council members. Summers, Wyoming, and McDowell Counties joined Mercer County for this event.
