Advanced MCTEC students were matched with a local employer to complete a work-based learning experience (paid internship) next semester. MCTEC students will be placed at Irwin Mining, Mountaineer Machine and Hydraulics, CMS, Cole Chevy, Lawrence Brothers, Inc., and Mercer Springs Farm.
Internship programs provide real-world, work-based experience to students and allow businesses to see the types of employees Mercer County Schools and MCTEC develop.
