Edward T. Toman

Mr. Toman is a graduate of Glenville State College, received a master's degree in Administrational Leadership from West Virginia University in 1997, and a Superintendent’s Certificate from Marshall University in 2001.

Mr. Toman comes to Mercer County with 30 years of experience in public schools.

In the early 1990’s, he was a schoolteacher and coach, and in 1997 received his first principal’s position at Wirt County High School. He went on to serve as superintendent in Wetzel, Ritchie, Gilmer, and Wirt counties in West Virginia. He also was a Director and Coordinator of the JASON Project and Hidden Promise Consortium at Glenville State College in 2009-2010.
