Ever wonder what % of a banana is edible?? Mrs. Mitchem’s 7th grade classes were presented with this problem in their Going Bananas PBL. They collected measurements, learned about ratios, percent error and learned many things about bananas.
Mrs. Mitchem’s 6th grade classes completed their culminating activity for their Worms, Worms and more Worms PBL by comparing measurements of lice earthworms to those of gummy worms. It was a fun way to learn about measurement.

There was some crime busting going on today in Mrs. Terrell's 7th grade Social Studies classes!
Students were presented a fake crime scene and had to sort out evidence (whether it was a primary source or secondary source). They looked at the primary sources to determine which teacher was the one responsible for the crime.
