The boys soccer team will host the Shady Spring Tigers tonight in the Region III Section I Championship. The game will begin at 6 pm at PVHS. The team earned the #1 seed and home field advantage. The team would love to see everyone fill the sidelines to cheer them on!

Our boys soccer team defeated the Mingo Central Miners 4-0 tonight to advance to the Sectional Title game tomorrow at home at 6 pm. We hope to see the community show up and support following the Homecoming parade in Athens.

Support your Panther soccer teams as they fight for a birth in the sectional title game.
The girls will travel to Shady Spring for a 5:30 start.
The boys will host Mingo Central at 6 pm.
We hope to see a great student and community presence tonight at both games!
It is important that as we support our teams, that we remember that sportsmanship be a priority as we cheer our teams on. We all must remember that coaches, officials, and players are giving it their best. They are all human and make errors. We must also remember that we may disagree with calls or offensive / defensive strategies. When we disagree, we must remain a good sport about it. We want our student-athletes to have a great atmosphere but not having good sportsmanship ruins it for everyone, especially our student-athletes. So as you support your favorite teams tonight, remember sportsmanship!
