The teams traded scores throughout the evening with the Panthers knotting the game at 30 on a Peyton Mounts 79 Kickoff return for a TD. Mounts struck again in OT with a 20 yard TD run. The defense showed up and stopped the Raiders attempt to tie the game. Logan Cook and Kit Bishop sacked the QB on the final play. Logan Cook finished the game with 18 total tackles, giving him 30 on the year. Panthers won 38-30.

The Panthers move to 2-0 for the first time since 2018 and only 5th time in school history. The previous 4 times yielded 3 playoff teams.
