Mountain Valley celebrated our 3rd Annual Vanessa Hale Substitute Appreciation Day. On this day we recognize the substitutes at MV. We understand the importance of substitute teachers, and we are so very appreciative of those that show up for our beautiful students. This day is named after Vanessa Hale, a truly remarkable retired teacher, who continues to give back by subbing for Mercer County Schools. To all the subs working in longterm positions, or on standby waiting for the next call, we applaud and thank you!!! Congratulations to Ruth Stevens!!! She was this year’s recipient of the Vanessa Hale Substitute Appreciation Award!!! Thanks to Mr. Hawks, Ms. Holliday, Ms. Bailey, and Ms. Wyrick for your commitment to Mountain Valley!!!
