Today, we have the incredible honor of introducing someone who truly is the heartbeat of our school — Mrs. Amy.
From the moment the doors open each morning until the very last call is answered, Mrs. Amy holds the world of our staff, students, and families gently and confidently in her hands. She juggles a thousand responsibilities every single day — attendance, bookkeeping, safety, purchasing, calendars, medications, communication — and somehow she does it all with grace, ease, and that signature smile we have all come to depend on.
To our students, she is the band-aid giver, the ice-pack provider, the reassuring voice, and the safe place at the front desk.
To our families, she is the calm presence on the other end of the phone, always ready to listen and help.
To our staff, she is the organizer, the problem-solver, the steady anchor, and quite honestly, the one who keeps us all sane.
But beyond the lists and the logistics, what truly sets Mrs. Amy apart is her heart. She is one of the kindest, most giving, and most graceful individuals you will ever meet. She pours herself into this school community daily — big things and small things alike — often without recognition and never without compassion.
She celebrates with us. She laughs with us. She leads our beloved “Pranksgiving” traditions that keep us smiling all year long. She reminds us that even in serious work, joy matters. And she shows up — consistently, faithfully, wholeheartedly — for our Pirates and for one another.
Mrs. Amy keeps this ship steady.
She keeps our families supported.
She keeps our school running.
And we are better — every single one of us — because of her.
We love her dearly, and we are endlessly grateful for all that she does, seen and unseen, every single day.
