Good evening Melrose Cardinals. We have just about made it a full week of school. Our students are right back in the swing of things. We are making a change to our K-2 afternoon pick up. We are going to dismiss our kindergartners at 2:15 for parent pick up. If you have a kindergartner please be on the church lot at 2:15. All first and second graders will dismiss at 2:25. If you do not have a kindergartner do not get in the car line earlier than 2:15. This will hopefully have our K-2 pick up moving quicker. If you have a kindergartner and a sibling the sibling will be dismissed with the kindergartner at 2:15. Our ultimate goal is our students safety.

Good evening Melrose Cardinals. We are off to a great start! Our pick up lines went smoother today. They will go quicker as we get to know which students belong with which car. I do have a favor to ask. On Wednesday there is a scheduled funeral. The church is kind enough to allow us to use the lot. On Wednesday please do not arrive to parent pick up at the church lot until after 2:15. This will allow for the church lot to empty from the service.

Good afternoon Melrose Cardinals! What a fantastic day we have had. It was so nice to have smiling faces and the sound of students in our school. I wanted to send out a reminder with parent pick up in the afternoons. If you are picking your child up from the church lot please stay in your car and we will bring your child to you. Once we get familiar with which car our students go to it will go faster. Just be patient the next few days. If you need to get out of your car to buckle up your child you need to park in the church lot and again stay in your car. We will bring your child to you.

Hello Melrose Cardinals! We are so excited about the first day of school! I have just a few reminders for you. Kindergarten meet the teacher is scheduled for Wednesday the 24th from 6:00-7:30. Please call the school and schedule a time to meet our 1st-5th grade teachers. They will be here on Thursday the 25th from 2:00 to 5:30. You can schedule a 10 minute time slot for that day. Don't forget Friday the 26th is our first day back! Students must be in their seats by 7:30. Lunch on the first day is cheese pizza.
