Angela Fisher, agriculture teacher at MCTEC, was named Mercer County School's Teacher of the Year.
Ms. Fisher teaches plant systems, animal systems, and agribusiness at MCTEC. Ms. Fisher and her students run the MCTEC Greenhouse and take care of campus animals at MCTEC. They volunteer to assist many groups, making awards for Trash 2 Treasure and maintaining and assisting with activities on the Agriculture Bus that travels to Mercer County elementary schools.
Ms. Fisher is a student in MCTEC's part-time welding class and always attends additional professional developments. Ms. Fisher volunteers to assist with anything at MCTEC and is an amazing team player. Ms. Fisher loves her students and teaches them valuable life skills in addition to the curriculum she teaches daily.
MCTEC is so proud to call Ms. Fisher our teacher of the year and now, Mercer County School's Teacher of the Year!
