Mr. James Carter, representing the Credit Bureau of the Virginias, Inc. Foundation, visited the Mercer County Technical Education Center to recognize four outstanding students selected as this year’s scholarship recipients.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a GPA of 2.0 or higher and reside in one of the seven counties within the Credit Bureau of the Virginias, Inc. service area. Each student submitted an essay as part of the application process, which was reviewed through a blind selection by a committee of MCTEC staff.
This year, four students were chosen to receive the scholarships, highlighting their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their education.
