MCTEC students recently earned their Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry-Level certifications and patches. They have mastered skills and are ready to begin careers or continue advancing their skill levels in the military or post-secondary training programs. The students have completed either the Automotive Technology program taught by Mr. Paul Sexton, or the Collision Repair Technology program taught by Mr. Daryl Barton. We celebrate their achievements!
On the collision examinations, students demonstrated entry-level skills and are now certified in one or more of these areas: Mechanical and Electrical Components, Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, and Painting and Refinishing. Students earning their collision ASE certifications include: Adrian Anderson, Jordan Bailey, Kyra Blankenship, Christopher Childers, Wyatt Cine, Logan Davis, Kaden Duckworth, Keagan Fry, Logan Iczkowski, Austin Johnson, Garrett Mays, Spencer Nicholson, Alexis Oliver, Jaiden Porter, Don Rompon, Owen Wood, and Bryson Wyrick.
On the automobile examinations, students demonstrated entry-level skills and are certified in one or more of these areas: Automatic Transmission and Transaxle, Automotive Service Technology, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Heating and Air Conditioning, Maintenance and Light Repair, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Suspension and Steering. Students earning their automobile ASE certifications include: Austin Akers, Jocelyn Bunch, Anthony Buzzo, Caleb Combs, Brendan Cordell, Jonathan Crabtree, Parker Davis, Samuel Freeman, Paul Goldsworthy, Mason Hamilton, Aidan Holt, Ronnie Justice, Matthew Loar, Garrett Odle, Evan Pentasuglia, Alex Ratcliff, Jayden Thompkins, Ryan Thompson, Amaya Watterson, and Cadyn Williams.
