HAPPY NATIONAL PRINCIPAL’S DAY TO THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Principals are some of the hardest working people in the education system. Without Mr. Morgan and Mr. Wilson, our school would not operate on a daily basis. They set the academic tone by encouraging students to thrive, they implement their vision through dedication and determination to provide a successful and positive environment for students, teachers and staff, they make each one of our Wildcats (ages 5-14) feel seen, heard and welcome at our school, and so, so much more. There are not enough words to express our thanks and appreciation for their dedication to the needs of our teachers, staff and students, and for always going above and beyond for our Wildcat Family! We are greatly appreciative of your support, guidance and leadership each and every day! Happy National Principal’s Day to the best principals a school could ask for- Mr. Morgan and Mr. Wilson- WE APPRECIATE YOU!! 🖤❤️🖤❤️

So glad that time allotted for some of our Wildcat Staff to participate in the annual Children’s Memorial Flag Day today! This National Day of Remembrance is set aside each year to remember those children who have died from violence and other preventable causes in our community. Today, we were honored to applaud as Sergeant Mark Haynes, West Virginia State Trooper, and Alysha Crawford, Homeless Services/ ICARE Coordinator, were recognized for their continued dedication to serving, defending and advocating for the children in Mercer County. We cannot say THANK YOU enough to Sergeant Haynes and Ms. Crawford for all that they do for our Wildcats and all of the students, children, families and community members in Mercer County. We appreciate you each and every day! ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤

Paraprofessional Day is celebrated nationally on April 03, 2024. Since we were on Spring Break during this time, we are going to celebrate our wonderful Wildcat paraprofessionals each day this week! Today is dedicated to our Teacher Aides in our Autism Specialist Classrooms: Mrs. Alisa Blankenship, Mrs. Summer Gerzema and Ms. Anita Mullis! Mrs. Alisa, Mrs. Summer and Ms. Anita are an absolute asset to the Autism Specialist classrooms as they assist with learning activities, life skills, proper hygiene, attend all resource classes with their students and SO MUCH MORE. Dr. Workman and Mrs. Dinger both proclaim, “we couldn’t do this without you”! The skill set, time, patience, understanding, dedication, and love you all provide our students does not go unnoticed. We cannot thank you enough for ALL that you do for our Wildcats each and every day. We appreciate you all so very much! ❤️🖤
