What an incredible day for a field trip to Granada Theater to watch “Hidden Figures” with Glenwood’s sixth grade! The Lessons in Film (LIFE) program was an incredible way to enhance our curricular Studies in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading! In March, our sixth graders celebrated Black History Month and last month we celebrated Women’s History! This movie provides such insight of our society and the discrimination African Americans and women faced in the 1960s and provided role models to show how hard work and perseverance can impact our world! We’ve learned  and practiced proper etiquette in public places and explored how authors and film makers tell the same story in different ways. Our sixth graders represented Glenwood School well with their amazing behavior and background knowledge! Way to go, Wildcats!
