Since 1972, National School Nurse Day has been set aside to recognize school nurses. National School Nurse Day was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting. School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurses Week (National Nurses Week is May 6-12 each year). We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to our very own, Nurse Jess, as she goes above and beyond for our Wildcats each and every day. Nurse Jess is more than a nurse, she is a friend and mentor to our Wildcats and has become an asset in the success of our student body. She has an endless amount of band-aids, ice packs and love for our Wildcats. She works one-on-one with family members and students to ensure students are safe, healthy and succeeding to the utmost of their ability. Nurse Jess, GLENWOOD SCHOOL APPRECIATES YOU!!
