Today, Bluefield High School honor the life and legacy of Kim Miller — a beloved educator, mentor, and leader whose impact on Bluefield will never be forgotten. As principal of Bluefield Middle School, Kim led with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication. Her courageous battle with cancer was a testament to the same resilience she inspired in her students and staff every day. Before her time at BMS, she served for many years as a teacher and administrator at Bluefield High, shaping generations with her wisdom and knowledge. Kim Miller was more than an educator — she was the heart of our schools, a guiding light in our community, and a true example of grace under pressure. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched. Rest in peace, Kim. Your courage and kindness will continue to inspire us all ❤️ 📚 🦫

📢 Important Safety Policy Update for Athletic Events 📢

Bluefield High School is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all spectators at our athletic events.
Effective immediately, all children in grades K–8 must have a valid ticket for entry and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times while inside our athletic facilities. This includes trips to the concession stands, restrooms, and any other areas within the facility. If not going to restrooms or concessions, K-8 students are to be in the stands with parents/guardians.
👉 Students in grades K–8 who are unsupervised or engaged in behavior deemed inappropriate may be subject to removal, along with their family, from the event.
👉 This policy will be enforced by event staff at all athletic contests.
We appreciate your support and cooperation as we work together to ensure a safe and positive experience for all of our fans, athletes, and families.
