Janan Dillon
Janan submitted one of her poems to “Of Our American High School Poets”-winter 2025 anthology. “Of faith and inspirational and Faith-based poetry written by teenagers for teenagers, which explores how today’s teens approach matters of faith, hope, religion, and nature. Her poem was selected as a Topical Winner and will be included in the our “American High School Poets” Winter 2025 anthology. The book is available on Amazon.com

Today at Bluefield High School, students worked on reviewing their Mastery Prep benchmark data, SAT math problems, and the importance of the SAT in terms of the Promise Scholarship and other scholarship opportunities. This is in preparation for the upcoming benchmark tests and the SAT test this spring.

Bluefield High School mourns the loss of Coach Buster Large, a long-time retired coach and cherished member of our school community. Coach Large dedicated his career to guiding and inspiring generations of students, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from him.
Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Game times are approximate after the first game but will not start early.

Beaver Nation: Reminder that tonight's 1st Round WV Playoff Football game between the South Harrison Hawks and your Bluefield High School Beavers 🦫 will be played at Hunnicutt Stadium at Princeton Senior High School at 7pm. All tickets will be sold online via GoFan. No cash tickets will be sold for this event. Bluefield High School would like to thank the Princeton Senior High Schools administration, coaching staff, and MCBOE staff for helping make this transition from Bluefield to Princeton for the game this evening.
